WEEK 9

Week 9 Already!

WHANAU FEEDBACK ON COLLABORATIVE CLASSROOM-RUMA WETA

Please find some time to complete our on-line whanau/parent feedback survey. (JUST CLICK ON THE LINK ABOVE). This will help inform which of our teaching techniques work well for all our learners. Knowing what our whanau see as important and working for their child and their learning needs, helps us plan the most effective teaching techniques.

Headphones - We are becoming seriously short of headphones in Ruma Weta. We had a lot of spare pairs from previous years that some children were using, but these are now slowly wearing out and are not being replaced. Headphones were part of the compulsory requirements on the stationery list for middle school for 2017. Many children now have their own pairs, but we now require all families to purchase their own pair for children to use at school. Headphones are very important for children to correctly use the maths whizz programme and for other learning online. Reasonably priced pairs ($6.50) are available at the office although the larger, slightly more expensive pairs are better for soundproofing.
