Weekly Notices, Week 4, Term 3, 2017

I hope room 16 children enjoy their week 4 learning.

Could parents please remind children about the importance of not actively playing in our Ruma Weta - rooms 16 & 17 classrooms. Most children are behaving appropriately. Despite repeated warnings some children are still insisting on running, throwing and bouncing balls and playing with furniture around the classroom. The classroom is for learning or playing calm games, all active play needs to be outside. We have a multitude of expensive electronic equipment in the classroom and sooner or later there will be an expensive 'accident'.

If your child does not currently have a pair of headphones that work could you please purchase one for them. They are essential for a quiet and concentrated working environment especially when using maths whizz or lexia programmes. Cheap pairs are available for sale at the office.

What a great day on Friday with celebrating Mary Mackillop-her life and her work.

The students all looked excited and interested.

Please practice the X tables and spelling on the Homework Label.

This week is Maths Week so we will be looking at lots of extra activities to do with Maths this week.
